Note: If you are the seller in a gift card trade, your coin is locked in escrow, the buyer provides an UNUSED gift card code for you. You need to RECORD YOUR SCREEN during the whole trading process in case of dispute. After you REDEEM the gift card successfully, you release the coin for the buyer.
On the website version:
Step 1: Choose the Gift card section
From home page, please select Market -> Global to sell crypto in USD
Click here or Gift card menu as below picture
Step 2: Choose to SELL and select the coin you want to sell
On the app version:
Step 1: Choose the Gift card section
From home page, please select Profile -> Market Global
Please choose More -> Gift card
Step 2: Choose to SELL and select the coin you want to sell
We can follow same process from step 3 for both Web browser and App version
Step 3: Select the type of Gift card that you want to receive
NOTE: We just updated NEW function that allows users can click on the Filter button to choose to trade with
Markers you have traded with
Makers who have KYC at least level 3
Step 4: Enter USD amount you want to receive
You can also Switch to Coin amount and enter coin amount you want to sell
Step 5: Search for the ads you want to sell to and click the Sell coin button.
Step 6: Scroll down and read the advertisement maker’s terms of trade carefully
Step 7: Scroll to the top and Enter the corresponding amount of coins you want to trade and click the Sell now button to proceed
Step 8: Chat with the advertiser to receive Gift card code.
Wait for buyer to send the gift card code. After successfully redeeming the gift card, please click “Payment received” to confirm this transaction. Please note that you must confirm or dispute the trade within 15 minutes.
Mandatory evidence: An unedited screencast video starting from the time the transaction is made until the gift card is used. If the seller receives the gift card code and does not use it immediately, the dispute will not be resolved.
Note: DO NOT CONFIRM PAYMENT UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU REDEEMED SUCCESSFULLY AND RECEIVED MONEY. Because the trade cannot be reverted after completion.
