What is Remitano EKYC?

From version 6.72.0 of our app, Remitano is happy to introduce a new method for your document verification called 'Remitano EKYC'. With Remitano EKYC, you can enjoy a better user experience with the time spent on verification reduced to under 2 minutes. Additionally, our improved review process ensures waiting time is reduced to under 60 seconds.

To get this new method, you need to use the latest version of the Remitano app, version 6.72.0 or higher, or you may use our web version at https://remitano.com. You can upgrade your app by using the Apple App Store or Android CH Play. Once you have the latest version of the app, you can start using Remitano EKYC for a faster and more convenient document verification experience.

How to find Remitano Ekyc page

  1. Access the KYC dashboard by clicking on 'Verify Account' in the menu.

  2. Click on the 'Verify' link in the Document Verification section to start Remitano EKYC.

Note: The 'Verify' link in the Document Verification section will only be available if you have successfully completed the phone verification.

Verify the Document with Remitano Ekyc

Step 1: Select your country and document type.

On the Remitano EKYC page, you will be prompted to select your country and the type of document you want to verify.

Step 2: Take and submit photos of your Identity Document

Once you have selected the type of document you want to verify, allow the Remitano app to access your camera (if it is asked).

Place the front side of your identity document inside the frame and click the circle button to take a photo. Preview the photo to ensure that it is clear and easy to read. If the photo is good, click "Continue" to submit it, if not you can use the "Retake" button to try again.

Note: If the document is two-sided, repeat the steps with the back side of the document if required. Once you have submitted the photos, proceed to the next step to take a selfie.

Step 3: Show face front of the camera

After submitting the photos of your identity document, the next step is to take a selfie. The system will prompt you to show your face in front of the camera for 6 seconds to capture a selfie. Simply hold the device and keep your face steady during this time, and the system will take the selfie automatically.

Step 4: Final Step - Waiting for Verification

After submitting your identity document and selfie, the system will analyze and verify the information provided. This process may take a few minutes, so please be patient. You will be notified of the result as soon as it is available.
