When you open the app for the first time, you may be asked for the option to opt in or out of these notifications for Remitano App (in iOS):

If you don't allow, you can enable as following instruction.

To enable or disable push notifications (in Android)

On Android 5.0 Lollipop and Up (Other versions are mostly the same)

The new Android 5 Lollipop has made notifications a whole lot easier for users by introducing its own section.

  1. Go to Settings > Sound and Notification > App Notifications

  2. Tap the app you want to stop

  3. Turn off for Block

On Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to 4.4 Kit Kat

If you don’t yet have Lollipop, don’t worry. You can still block notifications on your handset without much fuss, as long as you are running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or newer.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps

  2. Tap the app you want to stop

  3. Tap to check the box for Show notifications

We also notice some rare cases that you have turned on the notification settings but still don't receive notification. For that case, we suggest you can use the notification from your email client to check if you have received the new trades.

----------
WEB

By default, Chrome turned off sound notification for new tab. And somehow, it's affected our feature on sound notification on new trades. However, Chrome allows us to add the website to the whilelist and enable the sound for some website. Please follow the below instruction to turn it on for "remitano.com"

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click/tap on the Customize and control Google Chrome (3 dots) button, and click/tap on Settings. (see screenshot below)

If you like, you can copy and paste chrome://settings/content/sound into the address bar, and press Enter to go directly to step 6 instead.

3. Click/tap on Advanced at the bottom. (see screenshot below)

4. Click/tap on Content settings in the Privacy and security section. (see screenshot below)

5. Click/tap on Sound in Content settings. (see screenshot below)

6. Turn On (default) Allow sites to play sound or Off Mute sites that play sound for what you want by default. (see screenshots below)

And you can click on Add in "Allow" section and add "remitano.com"

7. When finished, you can close the Settings tab if you like.
